Lisa & Rabelais | A Destination Wedding at Mas Can Riera in Barcelona, Spain
Photographing Lisa and Rabelais’ wedding in Barcelona was one of those days that had so much beauty everywhere you looked. They were married in July 2025 at El Mas de Can Riera, a wedding venue in Sentmenat just outside Barcelona, surrounded by gardens, trees, and beautiful Mediterranean architecture.
The day started with Lisa getting ready alongside her bridesmaids. I loved photographing all of the little details before everything began, from her jewelry and perfume to their handwritten vows and the soft neutral tones carried throughout the wedding.
Their ceremony took place outside in the garden beneath a modern white arch installation surrounded by soft florals and greenery. The neutral color palette carried through everything, with white, champagne, beige, woven textures, and gold details creating a look that felt elegant without being overdone. Mas Can Riera has several outdoor spaces designed for weddings, including its garden and surrounding natural areas, which made the entire celebration feel connected to the landscape.
Lisa looked incredible in her sculptural off-the-shoulder gown, and Rabelais’ light suit fit the warm Barcelona setting perfectly. After the ceremony, we spent some time creating portraits around the property, mixing classic images with more relaxed moments that felt like the two of them.
One of my favorite things about destination weddings is getting to photograph a celebration that feels completely connected to its location. From the architecture and gardens to the light and all of the thoughtful details Lisa and Rabelais chose, this wedding felt unmistakably like summer in Spain.
